Useful Error
Today I was working on a MindMap and got the below error (click to enlarge). It was very helpful.

Here's a couple of funny videos I came across today:

I'm happy to announce that this June I will be moving back to California. Also, later this month, I will be joining
Avanade
. I'm excited and look forward to starting a South Orange County user group, which I was about to start before I moved to Virginia.
The Happy Truck
A couple of days ago, I was walking to get some lunch in Washington, DC and I saw the below truck. I couldn't resist taking a picture. It seems so wrong. I can't imagine the lobster, cow, and chicken acting like that. Click on the photo to see it in full size.
If Fox created a special called
When Bad Code Attacks
, I think this would be in the first episode:

David Silverlight has the best 5 Things You Didn't Know About Me blog post.
Check it out
.
I was first addicted to blog
flair
(those RSS feed subscription images on the left) when visiting
Rob Carons
blog and noticed his blog flair. Since that time, I'm proud to announce that I now have 21 pieces of blog flair, which is above the number of recommended pieces.
Caution to the reader: The below content contains explicit language. Below are emails Charles sent out trashing me and others behind our backs. Charles emails are in plain text and my response to his accusations in bold. From: Charles Carroll < charlesmarkcarroll...
I suspected Charles Carroll would talk about me behind my back, but also discovered that he was talking about Dana Coffey and Bill Ryan behind their backs. It's a good idea when you do that to make sure it doesn't come back to me. I have all of the emails that trashed me and others, and have published them as a page on this site instead of part of this blog entry as some of Charles emails contain explicit language, and I didn't want to offend any of my readers. For those interested in reading his ramblings and my responses to all of his accusations, see
Charles Carroll Non-Sense Ramblings
. As you'll see, he can't send emails to his followers without making a fool of himself. I can't begin to understand how the followers he has left, many of them bright and very smart, can continue to be his friend after these emails. Not one of them found those emails as being questionable. The few the responded believed him and bought into it.
I normally never post any personal posts on my blog, but couldn't help it this time. So, here comes a cross post from my fellow MVP Bill Ryan. This is for those of you who wonder what Charles Carroll's been up to lately. It seems
inline code boy
has been busy.
Pretty cool idea
:( Sorry
Tonight, I was attempting to connect to MSN Messenger via webmessenger.msn.com and got the below screen.
Tag. I'm it.
It's about time.
Steve Smith
tagged me.
Here's 5 things you may not know about me.
1) I used to be very active in the animal rescue field, mainly with abandoned ducks and geese. I've literally rescued hundreds of abandoned birds. With team of people I gathered together, we were able to successfully rescue over 100 abandoned domestic ducks and 6 geese that would have been left to either die or be tortured at Centennial Park in Santa Ana, CA. There were many other times where I rescued abandoned ducks, geese, rabbits, chickens and just about anything that was living and non-human, but that was the biggest effort I lead. An article was published about my duck rescuing:
Teen makes a habit of rescuing abandoned ducks
. I used to bring the animals I rescued home and that would drive my mother crazy. I've also volunteered with
Pacific Wildlife Project
and had my fair share of interaction with federally protected species such as endangered brown pelicans, white pelicans, various sea birds (gulls, cormorants, grebes, etc.), and many other species of wildlife protected under the
Federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act
.
2) I dressed up as Cliff the Swallow for Swallows Day at the San Juan Capistrano Mission 2 years in a row.
3) I'm an Aries, which probably explains why I'm so stubborn. I was born on April 9, the same birthday as Hugh Hefner.
4) Up until sometime when I was 19, I originally wanted to be a veterinarian, but choose to enter the software development field instead. I had volunteered thousands of hours at the local animal shelter as well as worked there followed by a job at an emergency animal hospital, but my talent for programming kicked in and that's when I decided to switch.
5) When I was a baby, I was chosen as the New Years baby and got to wear a cute hat and sash.
Now it's my turn to tag 5 people. Here it goes:
Bill Ryan
,
Kevin Jones
,
Dean Fiala
,
David Silverlight
, and
John Morales
. Sorry Terri Morton. I would of tagged you, but you still don't have a blog.
For those who haven't noticed, Microsoft.com has a new look.
I was using a Audiovox XV 6700 as my cell phone. I didn't like it because it was too bulky. Today I purchased a Samsung Blackjack. It's much more compact. Now it's time for me to play with my new toy.
Last night at dinner, Wally McClure said I look like Christoph Wille. You be the judge. Christoph Wille is at the top and I'm at the bottom.
