Charles Carroll talks about me behind my back
I suspected Charles Carroll would talk about me behind my back, but also discovered that he was talking about Dana Coffey and Bill Ryan behind their backs. It's a good idea when you do that to make sure it doesn't come back to me. I have all of the emails that trashed me and others, and have published them as a page on this site instead of part of this blog entry as some of Charles emails contain explicit language, and I didn't want to offend any of my readers. For those interested in reading his ramblings and my responses to all of his accusations, see Charles Carroll Non-Sense Ramblings . As you'll see, he can't send emails to his followers without making a fool of himself. I can't begin to understand how the followers he has left, many of them bright and very smart, can continue to be his friend after these emails. Not one of them found those emails as being questionable. The few the responded believed him and bought into it.

Wow.  You mean to tell me Ryan, Charles posted this stuff to all his little secret society friends like Doug and instead of telling him how innappropriate it is, they chose to come to my site?  Wow.  Amazing.  You know, If I could only get unedited Charles more often, I could do more to embarass him then I could ever do on my own. Was your blamed on Christianity?  As Doug told me, Christianity can make some women hypersensitive and prone to misinterpreting totally 'innocent' gestures that people may make.  Every polite gentleman I know has a trail of women who 'misinterpret' their behavior as harassment, no?

And yet Doug and Peter continue to defend this clown.  Anything other than a stern condemnation of this bs is tacit approval and they of all people know it. Doug can muster anger toward Ryan for posting the truth about Charles, but seems mighty low on indignation when it comes to Mr. LearnHowToHarassFemales.com

Must I really find out on your blog that you have recently been beat up and in a car accident.  I knew this guy was not right, when he was sending for a half his age man to come out there.  Okay he may not be a child molester, but he is a person who takes advantage of someone.  Its a hard lesson for you to learn, dont be so quick to give your money or your key to someone, who you really dont know.  But it is a valuable lesson anyway.

Bill - I'm not really sure where the whole sexual harrassment thing came from.  I have nothing but fondness and respect for Doug.  He's always been quite nice to me.  I'd really like to see these sexual harrassment charges I filed, as I seem to have blocked them from my memory or something.  My guess is this (non)allegation may have been pulled from a private conversation at some point where my comments where obviously bastardized and misinterpreted...  Doug Nelson has never  harrassed me - sexually or otherwise.  I find it important to at say THAT in print, as it's not ME who labeled him as a harasser of women.  I'm pretty sure he's never advised other members of the community to ask me to "show them my ***" either as our beloved CC has done.  Doug is a really nice man who obviously believes in being a loyal friend.  I might disagree with his choices in some cases, but we all have the right to make choices regarding our friends and acquaintances.

I for one, do not judge my self esteem on the rantings of people whose opinions I've come to toally discount.  It's the bozo bit syndrome (a concept explained to me by the very smart and sweet Steve Presley) - once that bozo bit flips, there's no going back; the object is once and forevermore a bozo.  Discounting will follow :)

Off to work - you know that place where they actually PAY you for all your hours of coding!  ;)

I commend Ryan for a political approach to this ( warning you and linking it instead of just posting it) as this was def one of the things that needed to get out.  I have several emails bad mouthing me that were sent to the whole Rainbow Portal project which I know am an Admin.  Nonetheless, I think we should all be the bigger person and maybe try to help him.  He did help me with some stuff which formed my understanding of ASP.NET.  Id rather be the better person ( which we call can be) and help him even though he was a bad person to me several times and Im half his age.

He really didn't beat me up. It was such a weak punch. I didn't beat him up in retaliation because I knew I was better off with the law on my side. But it is a valuble lesson and it's good that I learn this early on in life instead of later on.

With all due respect man, I have to disagree. Charles needs pounded into Submission. His little groups let him exist in a bubble of Yes Men where dissent isn't tolerated. I just received a bunch of Knights emails showing how unbelievable this is.  Anyway, these groups function as enablers. Instead of telling Charles to fix his life and stop his crap, his 'friends' chime in and agree with him.  Charles goes around projecting his insanity onto others and they just remain silent or chime in and do his bidding.

If Charles felt more of the pain he's so fond of dishing out on others (just to be perfectly clear, I'm in no way speaking about physical pain), he'd stop. If his 'friends' stopped enabling him, he'd stop.  Hopefully together they could get him the help he needs.  It won't happen though.  He surrounds himself with Yes men and is loathe to publish anything critical about him or allow such to be posted on his site. And God help the poor SOB that posts something about him on another site - actually, now that I think about it, that's not correct.  For 2 years they've been trying to get me and well, I'm not the one getting evicted ;-)
