    .Net remoting a question

Sorry I couldn't find .net remoting thread explicitly. My question is if you have a client and a server and you start a new thread at the client and it continues it's work at the server side through the remoting channels. Will that work?

    Thanks

Yes it should. As far as I know, there is no boundary between threading and remoting, however, you will probably want to use a locking system so everything is thread safe.

What are you trying to do?  The client and server have separate threads, though it is possible to kick off a remote process asynchronously, and have the server respond when it has completed the task.
