The Happy Truck
A couple of days ago, I was walking to get some lunch in Washington, DC and I saw the below truck. I couldn't resist taking a picture. It seems so wrong. I can't imagine the lobster, cow, and chicken acting like that. Click on the photo to see it in full size.
Spam of the year
I get a ton of spam every day from blog comments to emails. Here's what I feel deserves the spam of the year award.
The spam email of the year goes to, "Don't click. Just type."
And the spam blog comment of the year goes to, "Good day! Why do dogs eat their poop?"
Good day!
Why do dogs eat their poop? One reason dogs eat their poop is because it just plain taste
good. Another reason is it could be a vitamin deficiency. One other reason for the poop
eating is that it is an instinctual behavior in the wild to eat the poop to keep other predators
from tracking their movements.
Some solutions for stopping poop eating are: You can put meat tenderizer on it.
What do you think?
By the way, I love that too! How did you find that?
See you soon! WonderGirl

Killing is bad
One of my co-workers got the below error message in Visual Studio.
Following yesterdays topic of
The Spam Letters
, I'd like to point out
Spamusement.com
(thanks Peter Brunone for sharing this with me). It gave me some good laughs last night. Get your fix of "poorly-drawn cartoons inspired by actual spam subject lines."
We all get those spam emails that lurk in our mail clients asking a plethora of questions from, "Do you want to enlarge your (fill in the blank)?" to "Want disc0unt meds?" to "N33d t0 refinanc3?" Quite often the content of those emails are funny. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a collection of them somewhere on the Internet? Well, there is. Look no further.
TheSpamLetters.com
is the answer. They even have a book called
The Spam Letters
.
"Featuring 100+ Spam Letters in an easy-to-read, well-organized, travel/bathroom-friendly format featuring loads of letters not on this site! Help a brother out."
This is a little off topic compared to my usual blog entries, but was too funny to pass up. Those brave stick figures, giving up their life or other body parts so we don't do the same.
